Savybinis Linksnis ir Šeimos Tema

GRAMATIKA. DAIKTAVARDŽIŲ SAVYBINIS LINKSNIS

Anglų kalboje, skirtingai nuo lietuvių kalbos, daiktavardžiai turi du linksnius – bendrąjį ir savybinį.
Savybinis linksnis reiškia priklausymą, nuosavybę. Jis sudaromas, pridedant apostrofą ’s.

Apostrofa yra rašybos ženklas – kablelis, rašomas viršutinėje žodžio dalyje arba vietoje praleistos raidės.

Savybinį linksnį turi daiktavardžiai, reiškiantys žmones ir gyvūnus, taip pat daiktavardžiai, reiškiantys laiką, atstumą, metus, ugnis, jūras, transporto priemones.

Pavyzdžiai:

  • Emily’s mother – Emilijos mama
  • summer’s night – vasaros naktis
  • the ship’s flag – laivo vėliava
  • the girls’ hats – mergaičių skrybėlės
  • children’s dolls – vaikų lėlės

  • Apostrofa (‘) vartojama ir nuosavybei, ir sutrumpinimams (I’m, don’t).
  • Savybinis linksnis netaikomas negyviems daiktams, išskyrus laiką ar atstumą (a day’s work, a mile’s walk).
  • Klausiamieji žodžiai su WH- labai svarbūs sakinio pradžioje.
  • Pamoka skirta šeimos temai ir savybinio linksnio vartojimui praktikuoti.
