Vartojimas

  1. Reikšti veiksmą, įvykusį praeityje ir nesusijusį su dabartimi.
    Pvz.:
    Almita and I talked about the trip to the mountains.

  2. Reikšti veiksmus, vykusius vienas po kito praeityje.
    Pvz.:
    Pete Starling came home at seven. Then he had supper. After that Ellen’s husband took the newspaper, sat on the sofa and began to read it.
