Asmenuojant veiksmažodį was / were, nėra naudojamas pagalbinis veiksmažodis.
Klausiamuosiuose sakiniuose tarinys eina prieš veiksnį.

Šnekamojoje kalboje vartojamos sutrumpintos formos:

Pavyzdžiai (Examples)

Teiginiai ir formos teisingi.
✅ „Was“ vartojamas su I, he, she, it, o „were“ – su you, we, they.
⚠️ „You was“ yra netaisyklinga forma.
